Dr. Carmelo Barbaccia

Dr. Carmelo Barbaccia is an Italian board-certified ENT and Otolaryngology surgeon with more than 26 years of experience. Former Head and Neck Consultant at Medway Maritime Hospital, Kent, UK in 2004.  He has performed more than 1,000 head and neck cancer, thyroid and parathyroid procedures.

Dr. Alain Sabri

Dr. Alain Sabri is an American Board-certified specialist in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. With over 25 years of experience, he has published and authored several book chapters, including contributions to the Cummings’ Otolaryngology textbook. He was presented the American Academy of Otolaryngology Honor Award in 2010 and is on the Advisory Committee of the prestigious American Head and Neck Society.

Additionally, the lectures covered approaches to address challenges posed by involvement of major vascular structures, including the carotid artery and mediastinal components. This multifaceted dialogue underscored the importance of individualized surgical planning and the collaborative efforts required to optimize patient outcomes in the face of these intricate clinical scenarios.
