Dr. Satish Kumar Jain is a surgeon par excellence having performed 1,50,000 + ENT surgeries in an illustrious career spanning over two decades. He performs the full spectrum of ENT & head-neck surgeries and is renowned for removing even the most advanced stage tumours Endoscopically through the Nose and Ear. Dr. Satish has done pioneering work in the development Endoscopic & Microscopic Skull Base surgery in the country and has developedmany new surgical procedures.
He has done revolutionary work in the treatment of Angio-fibroma (bleeding tumour of the nose), developed Interlay technique of Tympanoplasty surgery (for closing ear drum perforations), developed convergent approach to identification of facial nerve in parotid surgery & developed newer concepts in the management of Allergic sinus diseases to name a few.
A role model in his fraternity, he has an award instituted in his name “Dr. Satish Jain Gold Medal” to be given for the best surgical videos on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. Dr. Jain is also passionate towards teaching & has trained 500 surgeons till date (including 200 from abroad). He is regularly invited as chief operating surgeon & trainer at surgical training workshops across the globe.
Dr Satish has also initiated Cochlear implant programme in Rajasthan that has till date saved hundreds of children from debilitating growth retardation by timely restoration of their hearing ability.
